I recently stayed at The Southcliff Hotel and had a delightful experience. The location is simply unbeatable, offering breathtaking views of the beach and Folkestone that made every moment special. Whether enjoying the sunrise or a serene evening by the water, the scenery is a highlight of this charming hotel. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, and it's exciting to see the updates taking shape. Despite the ongoing work, the staff made sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help and ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, The Southcliff Hotel is a lovely place to stay, with stunning views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished renovations and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Folkestone!

This is a lovely older style hotel which has had a recent makeover. The room we stayed in had been done out nicely, New bathroom and decorated. Work still in progress. The bar was closed as being refurbished but we didn't need the bar. The bed was so comfy. Lovely view from the balcony overlooking the English Channel with chairs to sit out. Kettle in room is always a bonus with tea, coffee, and milk sachets supplied. Was a really nice stay. Super being so close (short stroll) to the Lees cliff hall for a show. Parking is outside on the pay and display bays. You can purchase an exemption ticket for £5.50 from the hotel reception for your stay.

Returning customer to our favourite Kent hotel. Quirky, Victorian building, still partly under renovation, which is clean, comfortable and has magnificent views across The Channel to France. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Spacious rooms, we had a first floor seaview room with balcony, which was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. A large en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Plenty of wardrobe space, desk/workspace with plug sockets and a separate chair and table. Balcony is big enough for a couple of chairs.

Folkestone is an up and coming town, wherever you go there's always something going on. The Harbour Arms with its food stalls, beach, Leas Cliff Pavilion, and the famous bandstand. Not only the above but you have the town centre with an array of shops, bars, and restaurants. The hotel is clean, the staff are very welcoming. Bed is comfortable and we stayed in a room with a balcony, so the views are just amazing.

We love this hotel and so glad to see it has reopened. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is close to the shops and opposite the beach, with The Leas Cliff Hall a short walk away. A short distance into town where you have an army of shops and restaurants. We have stayed many times and will continue to go back for many more stays.
